I am currently working on learning more about generative AI as a technology hobbyist and continuing my understanding of its impact on future education. As an adjunct, I have already seen papers with AI elements and working to understand more about the different tools available.

Canva.com – Canva said that it uses a mix of different AI models as the foundation for these features in addition to building its own systems. Canva has been working broadly on AI tools since 2019.
Clipdrop.co The Clipdrop API allows you to integrate best-in-class AI to your apps in minutes.
I use this especially for the cleanup tool to remove imperfections in the AI.

DALL-E -DALL·E 2 is an AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language.
Gigapixel by Topazlabs – (free trial) can upscale and enhance existing images. Most upscaling algorithms don’t know how to accurately fill in missing pixels, so you end up with blocky low-quality results.
Playground Ai – a free-to-use online AI image creator. Use it to create art, social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos, and more.
Shuttershock – (NOT RECOMMENDED, USES OLDER MODEL) In October 2022 Shuttershock partnered with OpenAI to provide AI image synthesis services using the DALL-E API.
Stable Diffusion Stability AI, Dreamstudio – is a deep learning, text-to-image model released in 2022. It is primarily used to generate detailed images conditioned on text descriptions, though it can also be applied to other tasks such as inpainting, outpainting, and generating image-to-image translations guided by a text prompt. It was developed by the start-up Stability AI in collaboration with a number of academic researchers and non-profit organizations.

ChatGPT 4 – GPT-4, the newest OpenAI model, was released on March 14, 2023, and is available for paid subscribers on a limited basis. ChatGPT is a member of the generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) family of language models. It was fine-tuned over an improved version of OpenAI’s GPT-3 known as “GPT-3.5“.[6]

Google Bard – is a conversational artificial intelligence chatbot developed by Google, based on the LaMDA family of large language models. It was developed as a direct response to the rise of OpenAI’s ChatGPT
JasperChat – According to their own website… “Interacting with artificial intelligence used to feel difficult, overwhelming, and a bit robotic… Now with Jasper Chat, have a natural conversation with AI that feels surprisingly human. Simply ask your friendly AI chatbot to generate ideas, revise your content, and even make you laugh.”
OpenAi’s ChatGPT – ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer followup questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests.
